It’s senior year, and Riley McGee has the whole world open before her. Maybe she’ll head off to Harvard next year. Or what about Yale? MIT? She could get into any college, major in any subject, become whoever she wants to be, but the truth is, Riley has no earthly idea what that is. She’s paralyzed by indecision, afraid of the changes she faces, and as graduation day inches closer, it feels more and more like a threat.
Meanwhile, her brother Michael, who has Asperger’s Syndrome, is struggling to fit in at Marina Vista and stay on top of his classes. Riley tries to keep an eye out for him, but when Ms. Moore suggests pulling Michael out of school, she has to fight for her brother—and against her favorite teacher. Plus, an ambitious new pastor makes her question everything she thought she knew about faith, and her ex-boyfriend Tom moves home, hoping to give their relationship one more try.
As Riley struggles to find her way through the confusion of senior year, the Miracle Girls search for a way to stay together and hold her together. What’s going to happen to their friendship when they graduate? If they spread out across the country, it’s going to take a miracle to keep them together.

Is it really over? It was bittersweet for us to write the final Miracle Girls book. Much like Riley, we don’t really want to move on, to seek new adventures beyond this tight circle, but it’s inevitable.
Love Will Keep Us Together is about how to say goodbye with grace to those who have helped you matter to this world. It’s about learning to let go in order to stay together and not forcing people to stay when they simply can’t. It’s hard to see our characters all grown up, but we’re proud of them and the last book of the Miracle Girls is their last, magical adventure together.
